We are very active in the local community and believe we have an important role in developing understanding of British values, citizenship and the importance of community cohesion.  We have community links with a range of organisations including the RSPCA, Southwater Horticultural Society, local churches, Southwater Country Park, Parish Council and numerous local companies who contribute to the learning experiences of the children throughout the year.

We have close links to local Preschools including Southwater Pre-school which operates from our site, Southwater Village Hall Pre-School and Little Barn Owls all based in Southwater, and also provide a before and after school club which is run by Kids Like Us and operates from the school hall.

Luckily we are supported by two charity bodies our Friends of Southwater Infants (FSIA) and The PTFA who contribute to our academy community raising much needed funds for our children.
