Growing, Learning and Succeeding Together

Welcome to The Southwater Infant Academy!

We believe children learn in response to the environment in which they find themselves and to the adults whom they encounter. We provide learning opportunities in attractive surroundings, led by a highly professional and dedicated team of teachers, support staff and trustees. We care deeply for the development of each individual child and put your child at the centre of all we do.

Our vision, 'Growing, Learning and Succeeding Together', permeates all aspects of school life. Ofsted recognised that pupils are happy at our nurturing and friendly school, noting there is a palpable ethos of high aspiration and mutual respect. Inspectors observed that adults and pupils work in good-humoured harmony, striving for the very best, making the school a hive of happy activity.

Our families tell us this approach makes a real difference. In our January 2026 parent survey, 96% of parents agreed that we successfully support their child's personal development in areas such as confidence, resilience and understanding right and wrong. Every single parent who responded felt confident that our staff know their child and understand their individual needs, and 96% agreed that we provide a high-quality education.

We'd love to welcome you to our academy and show you us in action. Contact our office to book your visit.
