| Literacy | This week we will be reading the book ‘The boy who biked the World’ As we read it, we will be looking at the features of diary writing, learning how to add the suffixes ment, less, ness and full and making predictions on what will happen next. |

Maths |
In maths we are continuing to learn about money. We will be finding different ways of making an amounts, adding two amounts together to find the total and finding change. |
| Wider Curriculum |
Outside PE – We will be learning to throw a ball underarm with accuracy. Indoor PE – We will be moving in zig zag patterns PSHE-We will be learning about staying SMART on- line. History – We will be learning about what it means to be an explorer. |
| Science | We will be investigating how germs can be spread. |
| Other information |
Year 2 are very excited to be starting Woodland Time. Amber - Monday 2nd Buttercup – Tuesday 3rd Lemon – Wednesday 4th World Book Day - Thursday 5th - Come dressed as your favourite book character.
