Teaching and Learning Assistant
This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, successful, Infant Academy with enthusiastic children and high standards of achievement. We are situated in the beautiful village of Southwater, with a supportive growing community near to the historic market town of Horsham.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our fantastic and supportive staff team this term.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has relevant experience of working with young children
- Has excellent communication skills and is able to work as part of a team
- Understands the importance of building positive relationships with children and families
- Is confident in using a computer and tablet
- Is committed to safeguarding children and families
- Can support children with individual needs
- Will be able to support with midday meals

The academy is committed to safer recruitment and all appointments are subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check.
Normal hours: 30 hours and 25 minutes per week, 8.45am to 3.20pm Monday to Friday, to include lunchtime supervision. Term time only.
Salary: Grade 3, SCP 3-4, £24,027 - £24,404 p.a. (£16,561 - £16,821 pro-rata) depending on experience and length of service.
